Diana began her career in healthcare in 1983 when she became a nurse aide. She was a nurse aide for several years before she became certified as a nurse aide. Through continued education, she attended South Plains College and obtained her certificate in vocational nursing and became licensed through the Texas Board of Nursing. She continued her studies at Covenant School of Nursing and Lubbock Christian University and earned her Bachelor's in the Science of Nursing. She continued her career as a registered nurse in long-term care and instructor for the nurse aide program and vocational nursing program at South Plains College. Diana enjoys working with students and became a certified high school Health Science teacher. Diana has decided to start her own career school to continue her love of teaching.
